5 must-reads books for success and abundance mindset

Success Abundance money mindset

in this post, i will be sharing 5 books that tuned my mindset for success and abundance. as they say, it all starts in our minds / our thoughts.

if you’re not a reader, yet, i recommend you read “this 1 simple fact changed my mind about reading books”

“all that we are is the result of what we have thought. the mind is everything. what we think, we become.”

buddha

our thoughts play a huge role in how we feel and act. so if we change our thoughts, we can change our reality. if we tune our mind of success and abundance, we will have success and abundance.

the books i’m going to suggest have had a huge impact on my way of being, doing, and thinking — for the best, and it can have that same (if not more) on you as well.

so without further ado, and in no particular order that have helped me tune my mind for success and abundance and can help you too (should you choose to read them) are:

5 must-reads for abundance and success mindset

1. Think and Grow Rich – Napoleon Hill

i was drawn to this book for its name — i mean if I could get rich by thinking, why not?! and that’s what this book is all about. we can get rich by thinking, but there’s a way to it. all money making ideas are at the end of the day ideas, which are thoughts!

napoleon hill spent 20 years researching the ways of the rich and successful and compiled it all in what we can call a bible to be successful and rich. in it, you will find 13 principles of success and their application discussed in detail.

“success comes to those who become success conscious.”

2. The Power of Your Subconscious Mind – Joseph Murphy

this book, as the name suggests, is all about the power of our subconscious mind.
it throws light on the difference between the conscious and the subconscious mind, what’s their nature, how they work, and how we can make the best use of it.

the book also shares affirmations for all areas of life such as health, wealth, happiness, etc.

“your mind is a garden.
you are a gardener.
you plant seeds (thoughts) in your subconscious mind all day, every day based on your habitual thinking.
as you sow in your subconscious mind, so shall you reap in your body and environment.”

3. Psycho-Cybernetics – Maxwell Maltz

this is one of THE MOST powerful books I’ve read. it throws light on the machinery of our brain, how we have a goal-setting machine; how we always achieve our goals — no matter what we set and how (consciously or unconsciously) we set them.

“everything in life is a mental picture. every goal you have begins as a picture in your mind. and anything you don’t like about yourself or your life can be changed by changing your mental pictures.”

4. Millionaire Success Habits – Dean Graziosi

in this book, dean shares how he became a millionaire coming from his humble beginnings. he shares various exercises and techniques (such as discovering your vision, strengths, WHY, etc.) that he learnt from his mentors which will take you beyond your limiting beliefs to awakening the “inner hero”.

as he says,

“if you can cut a check for a problem, you don’t have that problem.”

5. The Magic – Rhonda Byrne

i believe this book will inculcate one of the most vital habits for living an abundant life. it is about the power of gratitude. gratitude enhances the quality of life like nothing else. also, I have realized that the more we are grateful for something, the more we get that. what we focus on, grows. if we focus on the good, abundance, etc, we will have that in increasing quantity.

this book altered the way i look at life. before reading this book, I thought I practiced gratitude and I couldn’t have been more wrong. reading “magic” gave me much depth and made me realize the “magic” of life.

by the end of this book, gratitude will be your way of life and what a way to live it is!

“it is not joy that makes us grateful; it is gratitude that makes us joyful.”

david steindl-rast

shortcut to success

i believe that the best “shortcut” to success is to study the people who have already achieved what you want to achieve. so think of the people you want to be like, read about them, get there faster than you would otherwise. ;learn from their experience, their mistakes, etc.

“if I have seen further, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants”

sir isaac newton, sharing credit of his success with the people whose work he built upon.

there’s a saying — the more you learn, the more you earn.
i make sure to invest my time and money in growing myself and learning.

“the learners shall inherit the earth while the learned will be beautifully equipped to live in a world that no longer exists.”

eric hoffer

one key component to success and abundance is to keep upgrading yourself, keep learning, and keep growing.

peace and power to you!
